Department of Cultural Inheritance: Through the Past to the Future

Abstract. The article provides information on the main results of the research activities of the structural subdivision of the Heritage Institute - the Department of Cultural Inheritance, uniting researchers around research related to the study of the problems of cultural inheritance in the context of Russian civilization and the promotion of a value-oriented civilizational approach.

Key words: value-civilizational approach, actualization of the inheritance of traditions, cultural inheritance, intangible cultural heritage.
