The image of the Motherland in Russian literature (Nikolai Rubtsov's poetry as example

Abstract. The article analyses «the images of the Motherland» in the works by Nikolay Rubtsov. Comprehension of the Motherland through the images of landscape, festive revelry, rural work, love are connected with the religious type of consciousness and mysteries of Russian old times.

Key words: Motherland, mystery, Russian identity, Russian old times, light sadness, hilarity, festive revelry.
