The article considers the reflection of the values of Russian civilization in the strategic planning documents of the Russian Federation (Constitution, the Fundamentals of state cultural policy, the National Security Strategy, the Strategy for the development of education), poses the question of the uniqueness of the value system of Russian civilization and its relationship to similar systems of other civilizations. The experience of the value policy of modern Eurasian civilizations is considered.
It is concluded that any measures to counter destructive tendencies in Russian society should be fundamentally aimed at maintaining collective identities of any level — related, ethnic, religious, social, professional and others.
