Abstract. The museum and the school are called upon to create a single space for the actualization of spiritual and moral values. The article provides a set of museums in Russia that have the potential to become social partners of the school in teaching subjects of spiritual and moral content and whose exposition is reflected in religious subjects. Possible forms of work with objects of collections of these museums are listed in the lessons of the modules of the religious studies of the subject «Basis of the Religious Culture and Secular Ethics», prospects for the use of electronic (multimedia) technologies are indicated.
