Abstract. In the article, the method of I.V. Tsvetaev's work with maecenas in the process of creating the Museum of Fine Arts is presented. The first stage on the way to establishing partnerships for the further work of the museum with the business community and private donors is considered, using the example of a charity concert. The goals and objectives are defined, and the reasons why it is difficult to establish interaction between the museum and business structures are formulated.
There is an analysis of the museum's work results during the preparation of a charity concert organised by the New Jerusalem Museum of History and Art in favor of the Elizabethan Children's Hospice.
