Abstract. The publication presents a series of articles of the renowned Russian cultural philosopher conceptualising the major categories of culturology. It is to expose auctorial vision of culture and to raise questions related to demarcation of culture with other areas of social knowledge and humanities. The author emphasizes that the knowledge of alien cultures makes up a component of culturology, which makes the latter ‘a science of the future’ likely to replace gradually both economic, and political sciences in their current state.
