Stoves of the 1st half of the 18th century in Russia and European analogues

Abstract. The article presents Russian stove tiles, stoves and examples of European analogues. Are described the main characteristics of Russian stove tiles and stoves, which were created in the early – first half of the 18th century. The article are presented a variety of forms, elements of composition and motifs that were used to create stove tiles of this period are presented.

Key words: tiled art, tiled stove, tile, analogs, art traditions.
