Gorlova I., Zorin A. The problem of viability of Russian civilization in the face of the challenges of the 21st century Abstract. The article deals with the problem of viability of Russian civilization at the beginning of the 21st century, analyzes the main causes of aggravation of geopolitical struggle, substantiates the role of national culture and traditional values as one of the determining factors of internal consolidation of Russian society and relief of external threats.
