The main reasons and factors of the extinction of local authentic song traditions
Abstract. The article describes the main causes and factors contributing to the extinction of traditional culture, local authentic song traditions; reveals the essence of the concepts of «culture», «myth», «tradition», «values», «pseudo morphosis», «capital», «ethos», etc., distinguishes the concepts of «folk culture» and «mass culture», reveals the essence of the problems of modern «mass society», modern «mass culture»; describes the main trends and patterns taking place in the modern global socio-economic system.

Key words: Culture, traditions, values, myth, authentic song tradition, mass culture.
