Culture as an object of public administration in the USSR (1945-1985 гг.): the meaning and content of the concept

Abstract. The state cultural policy is considered in order to identify the content of the concept of «culture», which guided statesmen in the post-war USSR, who determined the policy in the field of culture. As a source, state documents on cultural issues are used, reflecting the meaning and content of the concept of «culture».

Key words: Soviet culture, state cultural policy, culture of life, USSR 1945-1985.
