Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the problems of the planned research work “Natural heritage in the cultural context: original projects of museum and park exhibitions with natural themes in contemporary Russia and the problems of their realization”, conducted at the Heritage Institute. The author considers the possibilities and prospects of using objects and items from natural science collections in the exhibition space of historical and literary museums.
