Mythological images in literature and art

Abstract. IV international youth conference “Mythological images in literature and art” has taken place in the Gorky World Literature Institute of Russian Academy of Science (IMLI RAN) on 29–30 of April 2015. Young scholars have made contributions on various aspects of reception and transformation of archaic and classical mythology, national myth, contemporary mythopoesis in Russian and foreign literature and art.

Key words: myth, mythological image, national myth, archaic mythology, classical mythology, mythopoesis, “eternal” plots and images, transformation of mythological images in literature and art.
