The second section of the publication includes the fragments of S.A.Makashin’s oral memories, which recorded and transcribed by M.V.Radzishevskaya. For publication we have chosen selected precisely those fragments which include Makashin’s stories about the history of collecting archival materials, the most significant episodes of the fate of the editorial office, as well as the circumstances of the preparation and publication of a number of volumes of the 'Literary Heritage'.
