Abstract. The author presents the history of international relations of Moscow Kingdom with the Ottoman Empire and the peoples of the Middle East in the seventeenth century, which began to develop after the Vague time. The article presents diplomatic activities of the Russian government and Russian envoys in the Ottoman Empire, the foreign trade of the Russian merchants, as well as pilgrimages of clergy and laity to the Holy places of the Ecumenical Orthodoxy.
