Formation of dance theater in Taiwan as a form of cultural nationalism<br>and modernization

Abstract. The article describes the evolution of dance theater in Taiwan and analyzes Lin Hwy Ming’s creativity. It demonstrates the role of dance theater and choreography language in the evolution of cultural nationalism. The aim of the article is to analyze the formation of Taiwan dance theater as a form of assertion of national identity.
