Abstract. In article the aim is pursued: disclosure of regional specifics of functioning of a cultural landscape of the historical and cultural complex ‘Omsk Fortress’. Special attention is paid: reconstruction of the architectural environment, structure of a cultural landscape, functional value of a historical and cultural complex, possibility of a reconstruction and preserving historical memory. At the same time the main attention is paid to the analysis of examples of reconstruction of the atmosphere of the past the role of the components of a cultural landscape connected with historical and cultural and ethnocultural traditions of the region is shown. Novelty of article is determined by approaches to the analysis of valuable values of fortress, practice of the cultivated environment, installation on forming of new social ideals, original methods of a reconstruction of historical appearance, at last, regional specifics of structure and nature of a cultural landscape. In article based on earlier unknown documents of Historical archive of the Omsk region is considered the Omsk fortress as the space of provincial culture having multipurpose system of business and cultural activities. The conclusion about regional specifics of a cultural landscape of the Omsk fortress in the following factors is drawn: preserving atmosphere of provincial fortress, harmony of a natural and ecological environment, combination of components of functioning of a cultural landscape, historical and cultural and ethnocultural traditions.
