Pottery in the village of Smirkino, Balakhninsky district, Nizhny Novgorod province: on the issue of a comprehensive study of museum items
Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of complex research of museum objects: typology of objects, analysis of artistic decoration, study of production technology on the example of pottery goods of the masters from Smirkino village in Gorodets district of Nizhny Novgorod region. The authors consider the problem of tradition formation and its transformation. The collection of ceramics from Nizhny Novgorod State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve is presented
