Influence of S.Diaghilev and “Russian Seasons” on the formation of creative views and tastes in Western cultur

Abstract. The article considers the stages of S.Diaghilev's creative path, analyzes the innovative ideas of the artistic directors of the «Russian Seasons», which influenced the formation of a different view of classical ballet fashion. Different types of art are mentioned, as well as design works of Bakst, Goncharova, Benoit and other artists and designers inspired by «Russian ballets» and Russian culture, reflected in Western and domestic fashion, theater and cinema, from the 1920s to the present day.
