UDC 008, 130.2 Flier A. The Nature of Culture and the Patterns of Its Development Abstract. The article presents the author’s view of culture as of a product of historical transformation of animals’ social behavior program, and also reviews some patterns of its historical development such as the interdependence between pace of social development and dynamics of cultural variability, between preservation of cultural identity and level of social control over an individual.
