Soviet art plastics in the 1950s
  
Abstract.
 The article is devoted to the history of manufacturing and existing of art plastics in the USSR in the 1950s studied in the context of social stratification problem. In the opinion of the author decorative and applied art of that period was a sort of non-verbal language, a way of self-description for the some soviet middle class groups.
