Code of the underwater cultural heritage sites

Abstract. Within the public task for 2015 D.S. Likhachev’s Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Cultural and Natural Heritage started to develop an Expanded List (Code) of the underwater cultural heritage of Crimea, Krasnodar region coast and the Russian part of the waters of the Sea of Azov. The aim is to create public mechanism for accounting, protection and employment of the underwater cultural heritage of Russia.

Key words: underwater archeology, underwater cultural heritage, Black Sea region.
