National memory and Russian culture in times of social change
Abstract. The article first raises the problem of national memory, which is unthinkable outside of the Russian culture, Russian space and historical time. The specific features of Russian memory are determined by the national character, the soul of the people. During the periods of political confrontation of modern ideologies, national memory is fragmented, competing conflicting versions of cultural and historical memory are formed, claiming the status of national memory.
The restoration of memory begins with a prayer and the next acquisition of its historical mission by the Russian people.The novelty of the work is in distinguishing the characteristics of Russian memory, which are reproduced from generation to generation through different forms of communication, history, culture and Orthodoxy.
