The Culture of Russian Abroad in the Scientific Research by Russian Institute for Cultural Research
Abstract. The article is devoted to the activities of the Russian Institute for Cultural Research in the field of studying the cultural heritage of the Russian diaspora. The author analyzes the reasons for the creation of a new scientific direction in the study of Russian emigration in post-Soviet Russia, examines the institutional forms of its organization, including the Department of History of Russian Culture Abroad at the Russian Institute for Cultural Research, and provides a historiographic analysis of the creative results achieved over two decades of its work.
