UDC 316.77 Shelegina O. Communication space of regional museums Abstract. In the present socio-cultural situation, the development of museum world largely depends on the progress of communicative space in regional museums. This space comprises exhibitions, mass media, local and global communication networks, and the museum audiences. The results of historical and cultural analysis of the museums’ activities in the Siberian region allow to reveal the evolution of their communicative space, amalgamation of traditional and innovative elements, and adaptation of museum’s strategies to globalisation.
