Aesthetic motives of Gilles Deleuze's philosophy as the basis of theoretical tool for art criticism research of the 20th century avant-garde art

Abstract. The article is devoted to the aesthetic interpretation of Gilles Deleuze's philosophical concept of humor. The author attempts to present it as a productive theoretical tool for the art criticism research of the 20th century avant-garde art. As an example, it presents a comparative analysis of the reflections on searching for a new artistic language by Vasily Kandinsky, artists of his circle, Henri Bergson and Gilles Deleuze.
