Foreign women artists in Russia in XVIII-XIX centuries

Abstract. The author explores the emergence and the development of women's art education in Russia in XVIII-XIX centuries. The article offers the analysis of creativity of foreign artists who worked in St. Petersburg and Moscow. At the same time, the influence of European art at the art processes in Russia is studied.
