Abstract. The article examines the transformation of the role of cultural studies in the military sphere from an auxiliary tool to a key component of strategic planning and tactical operations. It analyzes the methodological foundations of applying cultural studies (cognitive, semiotic, and sociocultural approaches) in areas such as enemy analysis, information and psychological operations, peacekeeping, and military diplomacy. It concludes that cultural competence is becoming a critical element in ensuring national security in the context of hybrid conflicts and the global information space.
