Concept of Soviet museums of local lore in the works of N.A.Schneerson
and E.S.Radchenko
Abstract. The article is devoted to the concept of the Soviet Museum of local Lore, proposed by the staff of the New Jerusalem Museum N. A. Schneerson and E. S. Radchenko at the First All-Russian Museum Congress in 1930. Their ideas are considered in interrelation and in the context of the history of the formation of modern methods of exposition display. Such an angle has so far remained out of the field of view of museum researchers, despite the extensive number of published materials on the expositions of local history museums.
