UDC 008:001.8(470) Kondakov I. Russian Culturology as a Phenomenon of Russian Culture Abstract. The kaleidoscope of recognized cultural theories is unthinkable without the ideas of 19th, 20th, and 21st century Russian cultural researchers, who addressed both the general theoretical issues and revealed specific problems of Russian culture. The author challenges a question as follows: to what extent the Russian culturology is a phenomenon of domestic culture and culture as such.
