The book under review was prepared in the Russian Institute for Cultural Research and presents a collection of materials and documents issued in Russia beginning from the 18th to the 20th century. The author discusses the general availability of documents and publications on the museum theory and history and recalls the renowned authors and important publications, which could be also included in the book.
