Axiological foundations of the system of military cultural heritage sites

Abstract. The article reveals the essence of key concepts related to the problems of cultural and military heritage; it examines the necessary cultural and axiological connection between certain higher values of Russian culture, on the one hand, and the presentation of certain artifacts or landscapes as objects of military heritage, on the other hand. The article pays special attention to the value concepts of homeland and fatherland, which play a crucial role in the presentation of certain artifacts as objects of military heritage.
