Cultural paradigm of museums education in the aspect of its development

Abstract. The purpose of this article is to explicate the formation of the foundations of museological education in its relationship to cultural trends from the end of the last century to the present day. The term «museum culture» has been introduced in the context of the relevance of training museum professionals. Based on the systematization method, six periods in the development of Russian museum education have been identified, each of which is characterized by similar processes in the field of Russian culture.
