Encyclopedic texts in the age of Wikipedia

Annotation. The Department for Discourse and Communication Studies of the Lomonosov-University (MSU) held a roundtable on the November, 21, 2011 dedicated to the university founder’s 300th birthday. The leading scholars discussed the future of the fundamental and in many ways traditional encyclopedic vision compared to the modern aesthetics of anonymity and subjectivity given in Wikipedia or other web-resources.
